Reeds are considered 'generic' and will suit the Ashford range of table and floor looms and many other brands of looms including Louet, Schacht, Leclerc etc.

Measurements are given to enable you to check if they will fit your loom. please ensure your beater will accept the heights of reeds as stated.... some are fixed at a maximum of 4.5". The bars (top and bottom rails) are universal in shape and size and it is rare to find a loom which will not accommodate the rails.

Ensure your loom will accept the length stated ... some beaters are 'closed ended" and will not accept a reed which is "slightly longer than my current one"

Our new line of Ironbark reeds are robust and heavy duty, will last a lifetime as opposed to the lighter weight Swedish reeds which we are phasing out.

Before you buy a reed elsewhere, ask if they are the latest resin bond type or of the lower quality, lightweight, cord bound construction.
