This is the heavier cord, often used for cloth and breast beams (1/20) and does come lighter
Pegs are made to suit the 1/12 cord. Whilst they do work in this heavier cord, you may find some occasionally slip out ... just depends how/where you have placed them.

Hint
The cord MUST be sealed after cutting, using a match or cigarette lighter to seal the ends.

Making lots of the same length? Make a board with 2 nails at the length you desire. Cord on nails, cut with a soldering iron = cut and seal in one operation and the cords will all be identical.
