Used to stretch the weaving out to the size as threaded in the reed. Reduces the wear or shredding on the selvedge threads caused by the weaving waisting in as the weaving progresses.

You may end up with an assortment of sizes to suit your many projects

Remember a temple is an aid to your weaving. It will not correct poor technique or insufficient weft placement/allowance. Too tight on the weft and the weaving will resume the waisting in when the temple is removed. They are used to prevent damage to the reed and/or warp threads whilst weaving.
