Portable multishaft weaving
Popular because they are portable, easy to use and so versatile, the Ashford table looms are in demand with both beginner and experienced weavers. Available in three weaving widths 40, 60, 80cm wide (16, 24, 32ins).
This is the 40cm, 8 shaft model
The loom folds flat, even with your weaving in place, making them ideal for taking to workshops or guild meetings. The overhead beater for best weaving shed, with automatic bounce back, gives a wonderful shed and even beating. Levers are within easy reach for comfortable weaving. Each shaft can be lifted simply and quickly and is independent enabling a wide variety of patterns to be woven. The solid Silver Beech hard wood is lacquered for long-lasting good looks. Non-slip rubber feet give extra stability. Swedish stainless steel reed and lightweight Texsolv heddles are included. Plus there is a wide range of options and accessories available.

Weaving shown is NOT included

The Optional Stand... available separately ... strong frame made from solid Silver Beech hardwood, lacquered to match your loom. With 2 handy shelves. The loom fits onto the stand with no screws required. Stand folds flat for easy transport and storage. The stand is available without the treadles, which may be purchased at a later date.

Height from floor to base of table loom is 62.5cm (24½ins) when on the stand

When using the oprional treadles for an eight shaft loom use the treadles for the first four shafts and the levers for the last four shafts, as treadles are designed for direct tie-up only.
